Simply practical. When the club moved from its current B-pitch to the main facility on Mastenweg in 1984, the clubhouse was also inaugurated. It has since been expanded with an addition and two changing rooms. Two years ago, a weather shelter was added in front of the building, providing protection for visitors and athletes alike during the post-match social gathering. Source: David Borghoff

When two matches are played back-to-back, things can get a bit crowded in the two changing rooms at BSV Belsen. But so far, it's always worked out somehow. The hosts' changing room is also decorated with motivational banners. After the matches, the jerseys, which have been washed in the club's own washing machines, are dried there.

The two football pitches in Belsen are well-maintained and provide excellent training conditions. During the summer months, several members take care of watering the grass, regularly repositioning the sprinklers.

Here's how to get to the sports ground: The BSV Belsen sports field is located at Mastenweg 26, separated from the Niedersachsen barracks only by Winsener Straße (L298). However, the club grounds can only be reached by car via the rear: From Winsener Straße, turn into Celler Weg and at the end, turn right into Mastenweg. A narrow access road leads directly to the right to the clubhouse, where parking is available.

A small, but perfectly formed clubroom. The BSV Belsen clubroom isn't particularly large, but it is functional. A small bar and tables of varying sizes adorn the room, where club members can meet after their training and enjoy a drink. Club meetings and celebrations are also held there. In addition, DC Bergen, the BSV's affiliated darts club, uses the space to play darts on four boards mounted on one wall.

Clever ideas put into practice. A glance at the covered terrace of the Belsen sports club makes it clear: This is undoubtedly all about football. Footballs repurposed as lampshades hang from the ceiling.
