Brief background information about the Sparkasse football school
On January 1, 2005, the Lower Saxony Football Association (NFV) established its own football academy (FBS) in Barsinghausen. Camps have been held during all school holidays ever since. Due to high demand, it was decided in 2007 to organize eleven so-called "decentralized events" throughout Lower Saxony. Since the football academy's inception, over 14,500 children have participated – approximately 10,200 at centralized events and 4,800 at decentralized events.

What is a decentralized football school?
- Intention: Football school on the children's doorstep
- On every free weekend between the Easter and autumn holidays
- 60 children will be offered pure football from Friday to Sunday
- At least 30 participating children
- The target group is boys and girls aged 7 to 14 years.
Club membership is not a requirement!

What does the football school offer?
- Age-appropriate training for boys and girls
- Small groups for intensive and personalized training
- Training with licensed coaches of the NFV
- Training several times a day
- professional support on and off the field
- Full board and drinks during the training days
- a free SPK-FuBa school jersey and a free water bottle
- but most importantly - have fun!

Good to know
Parents are welcome to watch training sessions from the sidelines. However, we kindly ask that you refrain from drawing the children's attention during training and mealtimes. Drinks (exclusively non-alcoholic!) and snacks will be available for spectators. Participants will be staying overnight at home.
